How are tutor surveys placed and sorted?

    • 1. Recommended (advertised) tutor surveys:

    • There are two types of featured surveys on the search results page:

      • advertised surveys for which tutors have purchased the paid "TOP" service. In order to distinguish them from automatically sorted surveys, such surveys are marked with the ⭐ sign. "TOP" surveys are placed on the first page of the catalog. "TOP" records no more than 10 surveys for each city and subject for offline classes and no more than 20 surveys per subject for online teaching.
      • recommended BUKI School tutor surveys. To distinguish them from organically sorted surveys, such surveys are placed in a separate block at the top of the list. This block of recommended surveys appears at the top of the search results list when a user uses the "online classes" tutoring search criterion.
    • The inclusion of recommended (advertised) surveys on the search results list does not depend on the automatic sorting criterion selected by the user according to rating, price or number of opinions.

    • 2. Tutor surveys are sorted according to search parameters specified by the user.

  • Teacher surveys can be sorted in 4 ways

    • By ranking

    • This type of sorting uses an algorithm that ranks tutor surveys from the survey with the highest rating, which is placed at the top of the list, to the tutor survey with the lowest rating.

    • Ranking points are calculated and awarded to tutors according to the following criteria:

      • completeness of the tutor's survey (in particular, the uploaded photo, completeness of the schedule, indication of free time for classes, presence of a video presentation);
      • scanned copies of diplomas and other certificates of completion of studies attached to your questionnaire;
      • response rate to personal submissions from students;
      • tutor's response time to received personal applications from students;
      • agreeing on the date of the first class with the student and marking it on the appropriate student registration page;
      • date of scheduling the first lesson;
      • punctuality and completeness of payments by the tutor for BUKI services;
      • student grades left on our website;
      • responding to messages and calls from the BUKI supervisor, reporting received notifications;
      • maintaining a blog on the website;
      • number of ads published on the website.
    • The survey positioning methodology used does not provide for assigning decisive importance to specific criteria compared to others from the given list.

    • By number of reviews

    • This type of sorting uses an algorithm that ranks tutor surveys from the survey of the tutor who has received the most feedback left on the site by students who have studied with that tutor to the survey of the tutor who has received the least amount of feedback from students on the site.

    • By price from lowest to highest

    • This type of sorting uses an algorithm that ranks tutor surveys from the lowest cost per hour tutor survey at the top of the list to the highest cost per hour tutor survey at the bottom of the list.

    • By price from highest to lowest

    • This type of sorting uses an algorithm according to which tutors' surveys are ordered from the survey of the tutor who indicated the highest cost of a lesson hour in the survey, placed at the top of the list, to the surveys of tutors who indicated the lowest cost of a lesson hour in the survey.
