Start of each meeting, I ask students how they're feeling. This helps me better prepare for any distractions or a slow lesson, I go over the agenda for the session, give them a brief quiz and see what they remember,I try to connect how those previous topics relate to what we're going over in the current session. I go through the lesson, which involves the student reading material aloud and I leave at least five minutes at the end of the session for any additional questions about the material.

I'm Jane. Am in my 3rd year of University now, and through that experience and everything I learned from my Education, I have confidence in my abilities as a tutor. I believe that every student is unique, so I approach each tutoring session with the goal of helping each student reach their fullest academic potential.
I’ve always dreamed of teaching English abroad. I am interested in many things, including traveling, history, literature, and arts. I’ve always wanted to have a job with a meaningful purpose, and teaching English will allow me to do so, while realizing my passion for traveling and getting to know new people and cultures. I would characterize myself as responsible, passionate about teaching and life, and still a bit idealistic about life–which isn’t a bad quality to have after all.
